Wellcome to
EUROPEAN VEGETABLE

S.C. European Vegetable S.R.L. was established at the end of 2001 and has as its object the cultivation of vegetables. The company was founded and developed according to the company model in Germany with the same activity profile. In 2014 it started his activity in Tomnatic, Timis County by cultivating cucumbers on a 10 ha area, requiring about 70 day workers. In the following year, it tripled the capacity of cultivation and harvesting, both in terms of surface, machinery and staff. In 2015, the company acquired approximately 660 ha in Bihor County, and in 2016 moved its activity entirely in Husasau de Tinca, cultivating cucumbers on an area of approximately 50 ha. Cultivation, harvesting, sorting and packaging of vegetables is done using the methods used by German companies. This technique requires a large workforce, offering seasonal jobs for approximately 500 people during the summer season. Being a company in continuous development and with a desire to improve agricultural activities, we have also decided to enter the large crop market such as corn, wheat, sunflower, so we have purchased the latest generation of equipment and machines for greater productivity, better product quality and ease of work for employees. At present (October 2018), the company works on an area of about 800 ha, both vegetables and cereals.

Period of activity: June - September.
